Le Sueur County Traditional Truck and Tractor Pull

Grandstand

Wristbands and General Seating will begin about 1:30 pm
Age 5 and under   Free
Age 6 - 12           $5.00
Age 13 and over  $10.00
Pit Pass                $20.00 (This Pit Pass will be good for both this Pull and the NTPA Pull that follows)
      (Pit Passes are only available at the west entrance and access to the Pit area is only through the west entrance.)

Note: Bleacher Seating will be cleared between Pulls.

NTPA Pull

Entry Form Information

Truck Rules  Download Truck Rules 

1.     Truck may be 200 pounds over with driver.  Scale on site.
2.     Driver must be 18 years of age or at least 16 years of age with parent’s written consent.
3.     Truck must have hitch hole or quarter turn clevis at least 3.5 inches in diameter.  Pulling point not more than 26
        inches high.  Hitch must be rigid in all directions.
4.     All vehicles must have working brakes.
5.     No dual wheels, tire chains, or pressurized fuels.  (NO  N.O.S.)
6.     All added weight must be fastened securely.
7.     Loss of any object while hooked to sled will result in disqualification.
8.     Front weight may not extend more than 60 inches from the center of the front axle.
9.     Driver must stop immediately upon signal from judge.  Pull is over when forward motion stops.
10.   Truck must be in neutral when being hooked and unhooked.
11.   Driver is allowed one restart before 75 feet.
12.   Pull will terminate if contestant runs out of bounds.
13.   Driver must be present at driver’s meeting at 2:30pm.
14.   Promoters reserve the right to refuse any entry.
15.   Failure to allow inspection by judges will result in disqualification.

 General Rules:
1.   Tractor may be 200 pounds over with driver.  Scale on site.
2.   Driver must be 18 years of age or at least 16 years of age with parent’s/guardian’s written consent.
3.   Tractor must have hitch hole or quarter turn clevis at least 3 ½ inches in diameter.  Pulling point
      not more than 20 inches high and at least 18 inches behind center of axle.
4.   Hitch must be rigid in all directions.  No pulling from two or three point hitches unless hitch is
      locked out.
5.   All added weight must be fastened securely.  Rear weight may not interfere with hooking of sled.
6.   Loss of any object while hooked to sled will result in disqualification.
7.   Driver must stop immediately upon signal from judge.  Pull is over when forward motion stops.
8.   Tractor must be in neutral when hooked and unhooked.
9.   Driver is allowed one restart before 75 feet.
10. Pull will terminate if contestant runs out of bounds.
11. Driver will remain seated at all times.
12. Hood, grill and fan shroud must be in place.
13. Driver must be present at driver’s meeting at 2:30PM.
14. Promoters reserve the right to refuse any entry.
15. Failure to allow inspection by judges will result in disqualification.
16. 2 Hooks per tractor.

Hobby Stock Rules:
1.  Must have positive stop.  No use of vise grips for stop.
2.  Tire size must not exceed class limits.  No cut or groomed tires.
3.  No aluminum frame or chassis components.  Any non-aluminum rear wheels allowed.
4.  Tractor must run on fuel types for which it was originally equipped.
5.  Must have stock block, crankcase, head, manifolds, injection pump and carburetor for that model tractor.
6.  Dual tires allowed in 16,500 LB class only.

Improved Farm Stock:
1.  May use any gear.
2.  Engine must run on gasoline, diesel or LP fuel.  Cylinder heads must be cast.
3.  Number of cylinders made as stock.
4.  No turbo or supercharger unless originally equipped up to TO 6.
5.  Carburetor must be with original draft direction.
6.  Must have kill switch and wheelie-bars are highly recommended.
