If you have rented an Outdoor Space in the past, enclosed you will find the Rental Contract with space size and rental fee. We would also ask that you send two checks one for the space rental fee and an additional $20.00 check – this check will be returned to you provided your booth remains intact until 6:00 PM on Sunday and /or you haven’t canceled the contract after August 1st. (The $20.00 check will be forfeited if you take down the booth before 6:00 PM on Sunday or if you have canceled the contract after August 1st.) This has all worked well in the past to keep interest in the exhibits among fair-goers right up to the end of the Fair. Please return the enclosed contract, State Compliance Form (ST19) and your two checks (see above) by June 30, 2011. After that date we must assume that you don’t plan to return for this year’s Fair and your space will be offered to an exhibitor on the waiting list. Ideally your booth could be set up by Wednesday night, but needs to be set up and operational by 11:00 AM Thursday (opening day of the 2010 Fair). Building hours are: Thursday 8:00 AM -–9:30 PM, Friday and Saturday 9:00 AM – 9:30 PM and Sunday 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM. NO booth is to be dismantled prior to 6:00 PM Sunday or your $20.00 check is forfeited. You are strongly encouraged to have your booth staffed until closing on each day of the Fair. Security is on the grounds from Wednesday evening through early Monday morning. If you would like to set up your booth prior to Thursday, please notify us so the building can be unlocked and secured after you have finished. The Le Sueur County Fair Association and the Board of Directors are not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged display items. Returning Exhibitors: We hope you will participate as an exhibitor again and ask that you look over and complete the enclosed contract and State Compliance Form (ST 19) and return them along with your remittance no later than June 30th. As a valued exhibitor at past Fairs we offer you a chance to return again, however if we haven’t heard from you by June 30th your space will be released to a new exhibitor from our waiting list. Note – Parking will remain primarily as it was last year. In essence parking is eliminated at least along the south side of Highway 99 as well as in the grass area to the east of the ball field and south of the Izaak Walton Building/Commercial Building. These changes are all safety related as well as there will be live music between the Commercial Building and Community Club Stand on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. The parking area generally located between the restaurant (Home Plate) and the north side of the Community Club Stand will be designated as parking only for vendors, exhibitors, handicapped and workers at Izaak Walton and Community Club. In the event this area is full your parking passes will be good at the west entrance off Highway 99 to park by the 4-H Building (Morton Building). There will be no PARKING allowed on the North or West sides of the Commercial Building. This area is for vendor stands only. Questions? Ruth Hoefs Nancy Stauff Le Sueur County Fair
