LE SUEUR COUNTY OPEN CLASS MARKET SWINE SHOW AND CARCASS CONTEST RULES. SPONSORED BY LE SUEUR COUNTY PORK PRODUCERS.
1. No Breed Identification Necessary. 2. Entry Fee $2.00 per head. 3. All exhibitors are required to obtain a $1.00 Exhibitors ticket from Superintendent on entering or from Fair Office in advance. 4. Open to exhibitors of any age and resident of any county in Minnesota. 5. 2 head per lot. 6. Must weigh 230-290 pounds. Will be weighed at hog barn at fairgrounds upon entry. 7. All hogs must be entered and Id’d - DATE AND TIME TO BE DETERMINED 8. Open Class Swine show to start after 4H Swine Show beginning at 8:00 a.m. August 20. (Swine Area) 9. Barrows shown in 4-H are eligible for open class barrow show. Gilts shown in 4-H breeding class show are not eligible for Open Class Market Gilt Show. 10. To protect the animal health and well being of the Swine Industry in Le Sueur County, it is strongly advised that all pigs be marketed through Hormel at the end of the show and not return to a farm. 11. If desired, hogs will be watered/fed Thursday - Sunday a.m. with notification to Superintendent upon entry.
